I have a friend who insists that cooking chicken parts is not as juicy and delicious as cooking a whole chicken. I’m not sure whether she is a timid cook or just hasn’t tried this recipe which I know would convert her immediately. I prefer cooking chicken parts for a group since there is no need to do any last minute carving.

I think the secret to moist crispy chicken is a high heat (425F) roasting method that allows the chicken to evenly cook the meat and the skin.
